Post by Airez » Mon Aug 06, 2018 10:19 pm

My name is César, i come from Portugal and i have a Atari PC3.
I stopped for some time, but now I decided to connect it, but the disk does not boot, it only does the floppy boot. Can you help me?
Thanks

Hi César,

Are you getting any error codes at boot? Or does it just simply bypass the hard drive and go straight to booting from the floppy?

If you are getting an error code then there could be either a fault with the controller card of the hard drive itself which might explain why it's not booting.

I'm not aware of there being a firmware or BIOS update for the drive. This generally wasn't a feature for drives of this vintage.
